Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is a measure of the variation in time intervals between consecutive heartbeats, and it is considered a valuable tool for assessing stress levels and overall health. Heart Rate Variability (HRV) reflects the complex interplay between the sympathetic ("fight or flight") and parasympathetic ("rest and digest") branches of the autonomic nervous system, with higher HRV suggesting a well-balanced nervous system and a stronger parasympathetic influence, often associated with better health outcomes.

Place your index and middle fingers gently on your neck, just below your jaw, to locate your pulse at the jugular vein.

 

Then click the heart in time with each pulse you feel. Record at least 30 beats in succession.

 

After the last pulse, hit the calculator icon to uncover your heart rate variability score.
